It was a great weekend of hockey across Massachusetts and Rhode Island as these two states resumed the Friendship Cup Challenge with the 3rd annual competition.

Rhode Island started fast and took an early lead with strong showings in both Peewee divisions. But as the weekend wore on, Massachusetts started piling up the wins and finished the two day event with a 38 to 26 lead.

The Cup Challenge will conclude with the Winter Series which will be held on January 31 and February 1. The state with the highest total points (Fall Series plus the Winter Series) will win the Cup.
