RI's Ron Wilson to be Inducted in US Hockey Hall of Fame

RI's Ron Wilson will be inducted into the US Hockey Hall of Fame on Wednesday December 13th in Boston, MA.  Ron's induction will mark the third consecutive year a Rhode Islander has been into the Hall and we are extremely proud of Ron's achievements over his tremendous career as a player and coach.  Ron's playing career began in East Providence and continued from high school onto Providence College followed by an 11 year pro career that included some time in the NHL with the Toronto Maple Leafs.  From there Ron continued in the sport as a coach with a career that includes 15 years as an NHL head coach.  He has also coached a number of USA Hockey National teams highlighted by the 1996 World Cup of Hockey team that he lead to victory over Team Canada.   Congratulations Ron on your well deserved induction!
