USA Hockey Registration

Players

All players (no matter what age), coaches or personal who go on the bench or ice must have a USA Hockey confirmation number. This also applies to Learn-to-Skate participants.

Cost:

6 and under - Free

Ages 7 and up -  $46.00

Off ice volunteers - Free


If you do not want to use a credit card please purchase and use a VISA gift card.

Associations, Programs, Teams:

In order to offer USA Hockey sanctioned programs within RI, all associations, programs, and teams must first become a member of RI Hockey.  Please contact the president for details and requirements prior to contacting the registrar. Email the President


SIGNED ROSTERS
All travel and tournament teams must email their roster (in a pdf format) to riaharegistrar@gmail.com before their first game. They will then receive an official signed and dated roster which may be required for participation in tournaments.  

Players do not need to sign rosters.

Tournament players must be added to the roster and then the amended roster must be emailed to the registrar.

USA Hockey On-line Registration

Registration opens May 1.

1) Go to www.usahockey.com

2) Click on registration follow the instruction. Make sure all the information is correct before you hit send. For players under 18, parents or legal gaurdians are required to fill out necessary forms.

3) Save and print out receipt. You may print as many as you need.

4) Once registered, use your confirmation number to register with your local association.

5) You will need to keep that receipt handy if you plan to play on more than one USA Hockey team or plan on attending District Player Development evaluations.

6) Insurance through USA Hockey only activates when an association or team "claims" that player, this should happen once you have registered with that team or association.

Exception – Pick up and Adult hockey players who will not be registred on a USA Hockey team or association should email confirmation number to the registrar, send email.
